What is Hyperautomation
Hyperautomation is the convergence where Automation meets intelligence. Traditional automation which is often called RPA (Robotic Process Automation) is the process of automating tasks through rule-based instructions in a code. However, what if our job isn't solely rule based and requires decision-making? This is where Hyperautomation comes into the picture. It caters to the requirement of automating a task where not only rule based instructions are required but decision making is also important in order to complete the end to end flow of the process.
Hyperautomation can be divided into the following sub parts:
Technologies and Tools used in Hyperautomation
For Process Discovery
When we are in the Process Discovery Stage we deal with a lot of artifacts pertaining to the process. Requirement document, process flows etc. are few of those Artifacts. In order to conduct the brainstorming sessions with the team and to create visual diagrams related to the process we need to have a tool which can help us in fulfilling our criteria. For e.g. Lucid Charts is one of the most popular and handy tools to put all the artifacts, requirement notes, visual diagrams at one place in the Discovery Phase.
For Automation
In order to automate a process we require a low codeno code tool which can navigate through web portals, extract data from the web based or desktop based applications, accomplish excel manipulations etc. For e.g. UiPath, Power Automate, Blue Prism etc. are among the most popular tools in the market.
For Tracking the project
Tracking a project is the one of the most crucial part of an automation journey. JIRA by Atlassian is one of the most user friendly tool in the market to track a project. With the features like Confluence pages and easy linking with other popular tools makes it stand out tool in the market.
For Intelligent Automation
Tools that are one step ahead of the standard RPA process and provides an intelligence to the Bot so that it can take its own decisions are termed as Intelligent Automation tools. There are plenty of tools in the market which provide intelligent solutions for e.g. IDP tools like Blue Prism Decipher, UiPath Document Understanding, Azure Intelligent document processing tools etc. These tools can help read images, invoices, handwritten texts and get trained with the help of in built machine learning models. Also there are tools which provide NLP (Natural Language Processing) and other cognitive services as an add on to the standard RPA process.
Benefits of Hyperautomation
Hyperautomation has numerous benefits when used optimally:
Hyperautomation can help us to identify suitable candidates for automation.
Through Hyperautomation we can achieve end-to-end automation.
Errors can be reduced to almost negligible.
We can easily scale the same automation to other departments.
We can save a lot of hours which will consequently save the dollars.
The repetitive and manual effort is removed.
As employees have less work load now so that can work on upskilling themselves.
